“Discover Track and Field” is a three-hour track and field training session based on the curriculum content proposed by the Regional Ministry of Education for physical education, taking into account the assessment criteria outlined in the LOMCE. This project will be carried out as part of a teaching process that includes a training session at CIAT and assessment worksheets to be completed with the teacher at the school.
The class group will have two types of sessions available, based on their content, to be chosen by grade level from 3rd to 6th grade of primary school and 1st and 2nd year of secondary school, allowing for continuity of their work throughout this stage.
The content for each session type is as follows:
Session TYPE 1 Content:
Sprints (flat and hurdles)
Vertical jumps
Shot throw
Session TYPE 2 Content:
Long-distance and middle-distance running
Horizontal jumps
Discus throw
Objectives: To support teachers in their work in the area of Physical Education.
Aimed at: Students in grades 3-6 of primary school and grades 1-2 of secondary school (ESO).
Schedule and groups: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. (This can be arranged with the school, but always in the morning).
Maximum number of students: 25-30 (class group)
Price: €150 + IGIC = €160.50 (€5.35 per student)
Activity Ordering Procedure:
Activity requests can be submitted through TenerifeEduca, via email to the center at ciat@idecogestion.net, and/or by calling 922 615 338 during telephone service hours (9:00 AM to 2:00 PM).
The request form will contain the necessary information for preparing the activity: Names of participating children, ages, grade levels, center’s extracurricular activity insurance, permission to be photographed and/or recorded, the date the activity is requested, information on whether or not there are children with special educational needs in inclusive education, name and contact information of the center’s coordinator, etc.
This form will be available on the TenerifeEduca website with instructions on how to submit it to us, or it will be sent directly to centers that contact us for this purpose.
Once requested, the activity will be managed as scheduled and taking into account the specific needs of the center, in contact with the responsible teacher.
