Good performance by the athletes of Club Tenerife CajaCanarias in the Spanish Athletics Championship

Three athletes who train at the Tenerife Athletics Center (CIAT), belonging to the Tenerife CajaCanarias Club, recently participated in the Spanish Athletics Championships held in Madrid. The performance of the island athletes on the track confirmed the positive expectations, as they all finished among the top seven in their respective events.

Javier Pérez narrowly missed the podium in the heptathlon, finishing fourth, while José Luis López achieved sixth place in the same discipline.

Meanwhile, Ignacio de Esquiroz achieved a commendable seventh place in the 60-meter hurdles, where he recorded his best time of the season with 8:02.
