The first day of the Northern Division includes several events
The Tenerife Athletics Center (CIAT) will host the first day of track and field competition for the Northern Zone of the Cabildo Games on Saturday, starting at 9:45 a.m., with 300 athletes from the U-14 and U-16 age groups participating.
The events include the 80-, 100-, and 1,000-meter races, hurdles, high jump and long jump, and javelin and hammer throw. This competition is organized jointly with the Tenerife Island Athletics Federation.
This weekend’s Cabildo Games will feature a total of five sports, bringing together more than 1,000 children and teenagers in various municipalities across Tenerife. In addition to track and field, there will be competitions in swimming, table tennis, handball, and volleyball.
