The competition will begin at 9:00 a.m. with athletes from the U-14 and U-16 age groups participating.
The Cabildo Games return this Saturday, the 18th, to the CIAT with another day of track and field events, in which some 300 athletes in the U-14 and U-16 categories will compete starting at 9:00 a.m.
The 36th Cabildo Games, which will bring together nearly 2,000 children and teenagers across the island this Saturday, have put together a wide-ranging program featuring seven sports. In addition to track and field, lifesaving and first aid, Canarian wrestling, handball, volleyball, basketball, and indoor soccer.
The Cabildo Games are an initiative to promote grassroots sports, with young people ages 6 to 17 from all of the island’s municipalities participating. This season’s program includes 176 events spread over 33 days between December 2022 and June 2023, featuring 30 different sports.
