The Cabildo Games Host the Children’s and Junior Track and Field Finals at CIAT

The Cabildo Games return this Saturday, the 27th, to the Tenerife Athletics Center (CIAT) with the finals of the children’s and junior athletics categories, starting at 9:00 a.m., in which about 100 athletes will participate.

The rest of the weekend’s schedule for the Cabildo Games includes three other sporting events that will take place across the island: mountain biking, Canarian wrestling, and handball.

The Cabildo Games is an initiative to promote grassroots sports, involving young people ages 6 to 17 from all of the island’s municipalities. This season’s program includes 176 events spread over 33 days between December 2022 and June 2023, featuring 30 different sports.
