The center presents participants with certificates recognizing their efforts throughout the year

The Tenerife Athletics Center (CIAT), a sports facility owned by the Cabildo and managed by the public company Ideco, dismissed the 325 students from its Athletics School this week; throughout the season, they had been training at the facility alongside their coaches.

Over the past few days, the students have received their diplomas, which recognize their efforts throughout the year—a year in which, in addition to sports techniques, they have also focused on values such as camaraderie, fun, and teamwork.

The CIAT Track and Field School is a non-affiliated introductory track and field program whose teaching methodology, for young children, focuses on developing basic running, jumping, and throwing skills through games and exercises designed to build fundamental physical abilities. The school participates in competitions organized through the Tenerife Island Council Games as a way to introduce students to competition and the rules of the sport in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

For adults, it is also a beginner’s program where students learn to master the basic techniques of various athletic disciplines
