The competition will take place on Saturday, January 18, at 10:00 a.m.
This Saturday, January 18, the Tenerife Cabildo Games will bring together more than 500 athletes in the U-14 and U-16 age groups at the Tenerife Athletics Center for the first day of the Northern Zone of this competition.
The events, which will begin at 10:00 a.m., include the 80-, 100-, and 1,000-meter races; the 220- and 300-meter hurdles; the high jump and long jump; and the javelin and hammer throws. The competition is organized jointly by the Cabildo and the Tenerife Island Athletics Federation.
The 38th Cabildo Games will feature eleven sports this weekend, with events taking place at various locations across the island; five of these are making their debut: Canarian ball, track and field, badminton, taekwondo, and chess. In addition, competitions will be held in judo, table tennis, Canarian wrestling, handball, and volleyball.
