Ideco is looking for sports instructors

Ideco, a public company of the Tenerife Island Council, has announced a job pool for the temporary hiring of assistant sports instructors to work at any of the centers managed by Ideco.

Those interested, who must hold at least a Vocational Training Certificate in Physical and Sports Activities, have until February 25th to submit their applications through the Ideco website using the reference “REF. INSTRUCTORS 2022”.

The selection process will consist of two phases: a competitive examination, which includes a multiple-choice written test and an interview, and a second phase in which professional experience and specific training will be assessed.

Some of the job responsibilities will include monitoring and implementing the center’s versatile and multidisciplinary physical and sports activities; providing technical support, supervision, control, and execution of scheduled activities; teaching sports at both beginner and advanced levels; promoting and encouraging sports and aquatic activities; and managing the resources and materials necessary to carry out activities and events, among other duties.
