The eleventh edition of the competition was held last weekend at CIAT
The 11th Canary Islands Outdoor Championships—Junior Divisions, one of the most anticipated events on the Canary Islands Athletics Federation’s calendar, brought together more than 1,000 athletes last Saturday at the Tenerife Athletics Center (CIAT).
The championship featured athletes in the U-8, U-10, U-12, and U-14 age groups from all the islands and virtually all the teams in the archipelago, with a program that included sprint events, relays, jumps, and throws.
The awards ceremony was attended by the island’s Sports Minister, Concepción Rivero, who was accompanied by the technical director of the Canary Islands Athletics Federation, Antonio Buenaño.
