Level 3 health alert triggers a new capacity restriction at the facility

The Level 3 health alert, decreed by the Canary Islands Government for the island of Tenerife starting last Saturday, December 18, has brought a new capacity restriction to the Tenerife Athletics Center, which also prohibits public access to the stands.

The capacity outside the facility is now reduced to 50%, and to 33% inside. The total number of athletes allowed at the Tenerife Athletics Center will be 230, while only 20 people will be permitted in the indoor area. The cardio room’s capacity is reduced to just three people, the gym to 10, and a maximum of 30 athletes will be allowed to train in the warm-up pit.
