CIAT is offering 400 spots for children and adults at its Track and Field School

The Tenerife Athletics Center (CIAT) is offering a total of 400 spots for its Athletics School for the 2024/2025 academic year, of which 300 are for children and 100 for adults. Athletes will be divided into different groups on different days and at different times for training sessions.

This is a non-affiliated introductory school that has been in operation since 2010. Its teaching methodology for the youngest children focuses on helping them acquire the basic skills of running, jumping, and throwing through games and physical exercises.

The school, which will begin its new season in September, participates in the Tenerife Island Council Games as a way to gain exposure to competition and the rules of the sport in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. In turn, students at the adult school can use the Cabildo Masters Games as an introduction to competition and also have the opportunity to participate in other races held on the island.

The monthly registration fee for the school ranges from 18.50 to 28 euros, depending on the number of weekly training hours, with a 16% discount if several siblings sign up.
