CIAT Hosts a Training Clinic for Basketball Referees

The Tenerife Athletics Center recently hosted Clinic 23/25 organized by the Technical Referees Committee of the Tenerife Island Basketball Federation (FIBT), which was attended by 120 referees and table officials.

The opening ceremony was attended by the island’s Sports Minister, Yolanda Moliné; the Director General of Sports for the Government of the Canary Islands, José Francisco Pérez; and the president of the FIBT, Rafael González.

The clinic included training sessions on the upcoming season and presentations by Nicolás Murillo, Aldo Rodríguez, and Nauzet Sosa, who addressed refereeing, administrative, and assignment issues. The activities concluded with video workshops.

The training for polling station officials focused primarily on the importance of statistics.
