About 50 CIAT athletes will compete in the cross-country finals this weekend

About fifty students from the CIAT Track and Field School will participate next Saturday, starting at 9:00 a.m., in the cross-country finals of the Tenerife Cabildo Games, which will be held at the Golf del Sur course (San Miguel de Abona).

The 37th Cabildo Games continue to take place across Tenerife for another week before the Christmas break. This Saturday, December 16, three other sports will join track and field, bringing together about a thousand children and teenagers at various sports facilities: cross-country, frontenis, basketball, and volleyball.

Thus, the frontenis organization is holding a recreational and sporting event for the youth category this Saturday at 9:15 a.m. at the Real Club Náutico de Tenerife, with 100 players participating.

Meanwhile, the youth basketball league will hold its second round of competition in the southern region. The games will be played on Saturday, starting at 9:15 a.m., at the Los Cristianos Municipal Sports Pavilion in the municipality of Arona, and will feature about 150 players from the minibasket, children’s, and cadet divisions.

Finally, the eleventh round of the Island Volleyball League will round out Saturday’s sports schedule, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at various sports venues across the island. The matches will bring together 200 athletes from the children’s and junior categories.
