Track and field returns this Saturday, the 5th, to the Cabildo Games with a double-header at the Tenerife Athletics Center (CIAT), which will bring together around a thousand athletes under the auspices of the Tenerife Island Athletics Federation. In the morning, starting at 10:00 a.m., the third day of the “Jugando al atletismo” event will take place, featuring the U-8, U-10, and U-12 age groups from the northern and southern regions. The events include 50- and 60-meter sprints, relays, and throwing events.
The track and field competition will conclude on Saturday afternoon starting at 4:00 p.m. with the thirdday of the Southern Division, featuring the U-14 and U-16 age groups. The events include the 80-, 100-, and 1,000-meter races; the 220- and 300-meter hurdles; the high jump and long jump; and the javelin and hammer throws.
