The construction work will prevent use of the track from August 24 to 27, although users will be able to use the grass field and the indoor track
The Tenerife Athletics Center (CIAT), a facility owned by the Cabildo and managed by the public company Ideco, will improve the track markings on its outdoor track. The work, which will take place between August 24 and 27, will prevent the use of this area during those days.
However, users will be able to access the lawn during regular hours via the designated walkways, which are marked off with cones to ensure that they do not step on the areas where work is being done.
Since the outdoor sand pits for the long jump and triple jump will remain closed for the duration of the construction work, athletes will be able to use the one on the indoor track.
