CIAT Opens Registration for Its Track and Field School

The Tenerife Athletics Center (CIAT), which is part of Ideco, opened registration today [Friday, July 1] for its Athletics School. For the upcoming season, which begins in September, the center is offering a total of 470 spots for children and adults, which will be divided into 20 groups on different days and at different times.

The monthly registration fee for the school ranges from 18.50 to 27.25 euros, depending on the number of weekly training hours, with a discount available if several siblings sign up.

The CIAT Track and Field School is a non-affiliated introductory program whose teaching methodology, for the youngest participants, focuses on developing basic running, jumping, and throwing skills through games and physical exercises.

The school participates in the Tenerife Island Council Games competitions as a way for students to become familiar with competition and the rules of the sport in an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration. In turn, students at the adult school will have the opportunity to participate in the Island Council Masters Games as an introduction to competition.
