Tuesday, 15 October 2024

Activities take place in the morning, with the option to choose between three or five days a week

The Tenerife Athletics Center (CIAT), a facility owned by the Cabildo and managed by the public company Ideco, is offering two new services starting this October: specific physical training and fitness maintenance for seniors. Anyone who wishes to participate may sign up, regardless of whether they are a member of the center.

The specialized fitness training service is designed for people who want to train for a race, prepare for the physical tests required for a civil service exam, or simply stay active. Through this new service, the center’s instructors will help participants achieve peak performance through specialized and group training sessions that include daily progress tracking. Participants can choose between training for an hour and a half five days a week or just three days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Physical fitness training is a planned, structured, and repetitive activity designed to improve physical condition in people of any age and fitness level through group exercises led by an instructor. This type of training will help increase your energy and vitality when performing daily tasks and improve your health through physical activity. With this service, you can also choose between training three or five days a week.
